Özet

With the increasing population in today's world, the demand for energy is increasing day by day. As fossil fuels come to the point of completion, the use of renewable energy sources is increasing rapidly. Türkiye has made significant progress in the use of renewable energy sources. The country has great potential in terms of these resources due to its geographical features. Solar power plants are needed in the use of solar energy, which is one of these sources. In order to get a high degree of efficiency from such facilities, it is necessary to determine the most suitable place on the land. Today's technology can reveal the most suitable location selections thanks to various computer programs. One of them is the program called ArcGIS used in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). In this study, the most suitable places for the establishment of Solar Power Plants (GES) throughout the province of Manisa were tried to be determined through the program in question. More than one parameter (slope, aspect, agricultural land, forest land, stream, lake, access roads, energy transmission lines) was used in the study. These parameters were passed through the Analytical Hierarchy Process and additionally Fuzzy Logic before the analysis and were superimposed in the program. As a result of the analyzes made, the most suitable areas for the establishment of SPPs in Manisa were found to be approximately 14.5%. These areas are generally located around plain and plateau areas. It is necessary to stay away from fertile areas where agriculture is made in the construction of SPPs. Thus, the destruction of agricultural lands can be prevented while establishing energy facilities.
