Abstract
An Action Research on the Teaching of Production, Distribution and Consumption Concepts
The current study aims to reveal the contributions of activities related to teaching concepts of production, distribution, and consumption. The study is designed according to the action research is one of the qualitative research methods. The working group, which is selected according to the purposive sampling method, consists of 24 students studying at a public middle school that is serving in Konya. The data of the study are collected prior knowledge assessment and final knowledge evaluation forms and video recordings of the lessons. Obtain data were analyzed and interpreted by the content analysis method. Firstly, a prior knowledge evaluation form was utilized and the students' knowledge levels about the concepts were graded. Then, taking into consideration the missing or incorrect learnings of the students, activities of production, distribution and consumption network, literary works and concept puzzles were conducted. After the activities, the final knowledge evaluation form was used.
