The study was conducted to opinions the knowledge and opinions of Karadeniz Technical University Health Services Vocational School students on Complementary applications. The sample of this descriptive study consisted of 230 students studying at KTU Health Services Vocational School. The data were collected using a questionnaire. Number and percentage distribution were used for evaluation of the data. It was seen that 70.8% of the students never used methods. It was determined that students who used complementary therapy methods prefered it especially for reducing their stress (30.9%), getting rid of health problems (26.2%), and hair and face care (11.6%). These methods were encountered/heard mostly through the internet (39.9%), healthcare professionals (25.8%) and friends (16.7%). While the use of herbal products was the most familiar (59.2%) type; massage (13.3%) was found to be the comprehensively known complementary therapy method. Although students generally knew about complementary therapy methods, it was found that they did not have detailed information. It has been determined that the methods used more frequently in daily life were more familiar to the students.
